Dr. Anil Mehrotra runs a busy general practice in Lucknow. Here's how the reception dashboard and doctor portal changed a typical Tuesday.
A note on this story: AICA is currently in its early / MVP phase — a live prototype we're walking pilot clinics through, not yet a mass-market product. This pilot story reflects Dr. Mehrotra's experience testing the reception dashboard and doctor portal at his clinic, shared here to illustrate how AICA is designed to work in a real consult room.
Before the pilot, every patient walked in as a blank page. Dr. Mehrotra and his two colleagues re-asked the same history questions dozens of times a day, and the front desk had no way to see who was actually waiting versus who'd already left.
The front desk switched from a paper register to a live queue view, so the team could see arrivals, no-shows, and who was actually next in line.
Each of the three doctors started opening consults from the AICA portal instead of a blank note, with prior visits and flagged concerns already surfaced.
Prescriptions written during the pilot were scanned at the patient's usual pharmacy, so the next visit's history was already waiting — no re-entry needed.
Pehle main har patient ka history puchhta tha. Ab AICA pre-consult open karta hoon — everything's there. Saving four minutes per patient adds up to ten extra patients a day.
